LONG BEACH, CA – The PacWest Conference and Menlo College is proud to announce that senior Nicolas-Guy Landry has been named the 2024-25 PacWest Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year, marking a historic milestone for the Menlo Men's Golf program. An International Business major from Canada, Landry becomes the first Menlo golfer to earn this prestigious award, which recognizes excellence in both athletic performance and academic achievement.

Landry recently concluded a standout collegiate career as a four-year starter and key leader for the Oaks. This past season, he made history once again by becoming the first Menlo Men's Golf athlete to earn All-PacWest honors, landing on the Second Team. His year was highlighted by a tie for second at the Oregon Tech Run-In at the Ranch, helping the Oaks erase a three-stroke deficit to claim the team title, and a season-best 3-under-par 69 at the West Coast Classic, where he placed seventh individually.

A model of consistency, Landry posted two top-five finishes in the fall and four consecutive top-ten finishes in the spring, helping propel the Oaks to a win at the Danish Classic and a top-five finish at the PacWest Championship.

Off the course, Landry's academic and leadership excellence have matched his athletic success. At the 2025 Menlo Athletics Awards Banquet, he was inducted into the Chi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, recognizing his academic dedication. He also served as the Men's Golf SAAC representative, mentoring younger teammates and playing a critical role in the program's seamless transition to NCAA Division II.

Menlo College celebrates Landry's exceptional accomplishments and thanks him for the lasting impact he has made on the Men's Golf program and the campus community.
