RESULTS

NAPERVILLE, ILL – Menlo Women's Wrestling took on some of nation's toughest competition at the North Central College Invitational, placing five wrestlers in the top six and finishing seventh as a team overall.

Schwab and Narahara Share Placements
At 124lbs, the duo of Louisa Schwab and Haley Narahara controlled their bracket, advancing to the third-place bout before forfeiting and sharing fourth place.

Schwab opened the day with back-to-back technical falls, then faced her teammate in the quarterfinals to secure a spot in the semifinals. After dropping a 9-2 decision, Schwab rebounded in her final match with a five-minute fall over no. 5 NAIA ranked Rose Kaplan of Indiana Tech.

Narahara delivered an equally impressive showing, opening the tournament with a dominant 7-0 decision before edging a 9-6 decision to advance to the quarterfinals. Despite falling short in the quarters, she closed out the day with an 10-0 technical fall and an 8-2 victory over Isabella Gonzalez of the powerhouse Iowa Hawkeyes program.

Jones Makes a Statement
