Otter Invitational Results (Rounds 1 & 2)

SEASIDE, CA – Menlo Men's Golf battled through rainy conditions out at Bayonet & Blackhorse Golf Course on Monday, finishing the first two rounds of the Otter Invitational in 14th overall with graduate student Jack Stark among the first four out of the nearly 100-golfer field.

Menlo Paced By Stark Inside Top 10 Through Two Rounds
Stark's top position among the Oaks was powered by six birdies including four over the back nine as he completed the opening round in a tie for second with a 2-under-par 70 and the day at 1-over-par 145. Rounding out the four Oaks qualifiers were junior Cole Kroeker tied for 67th (14-over-par 158) along with senior Tej Gangavarapu 15-over-par 159 in 72nd and sophomore Ryan Bello 19-over-par 158 in 81st. Competing as an individual, sophomore Emmett Shell wrapped up the first day at 11-over-par 155 and tied for 50th.

One more round remains in the Otter Invitational as Menlo returns to Bayonet & Blackhorse Golf Course for an 8:30 a.m. tee time tomorrow.
