Atherton, CA - This past season Menlo Athletic's golf program received the distinct honor of being awarded the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Outstanding Team Academic Award.  This award highlighted the team's dedication and effort in the classroom for the 2023 - 2024 season. In fact, they would receive the more prestigious distinction being named to the President's Special Recognition list thanks to maintaining a 3.5 + GPA as a team.

Menlo was one of eight NAIA schools to earn this recognition. In addition, there were a total of 240 schools across six divisions that received the GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award. This is another academic achievement that has been awarded to a stellar golf program that continues to excel academically. For the year the Oaks would produce nine Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes, nine GSAC Scholar-Athletes, and seven Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars as well.
