Jesse Jaime Jr.

Menlo College Women's Wrestling continued their winning ways with the help of Assistant Coach Jesse Jamie Jr. in his second season. The coaching staff created an impressive resume including:

  • Menlo Open Champions
  • West Coast Tournament of Champions Champs
  • NWCA National Duals Runner-Up
  • an undefeated home dual season
  • 4 CCC Wrestler of the Week honors
  • 3 CCC Team of the Week honors
  • 2 NAIA Wrestler of the Week honors
  • 12 CCC Academic All-Conference
  • 4 NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes

After a successful regular-season, the Oaks hosted the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship Tournament inside Haynes-Prim Pavilion where Menlo rightfully earned the Conference Championship title. 12 Oak wrestlers punched their tickets for the NAIA Championship Tournament, including 4 Conference Champions. Fast forward a couple weeks to the NAIA National Championship Tournament where Menlo placed 10 All-Americans, including an individual champion in Tavia Heidelberg-Tillotson (191), to clinch the Championship Title before the Championship rounds even began.

Jesse Jaime began his 1st season with the Oaks as an assistant coach for the 2022-23 season. Prior to coming to Menlo, Jesse was the former Head Assistant wrestling coach for both Men & Women programs at Life Pacific University in Southern California. Where he was able to establish the 1st ever Women's All-American in March 2022.

Jesse received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management with a double minor in Kinesiology and Coaching from Mt. San Antonio Junior College and Notre Dame College of Ohio. He served as a California Juco State Dual Champion and honorable mention All-American during his years at Mt.San Antonio College in 2015-2017. After his time at Mt.Sac, he then went on to wrestle for Dll Notre Dame, where he competed as a starter in 2020 and placed 4th as a team. 

Jesse also has accredited certifications in Personal Training, Nutrition, and his USA Wrestling Bronze Coaching Certification.
