HAYWARD, CA – Menlo Men's Basketball saw many hands contribute to what was a close game leading up to halftime and in the second period as well, but Cal State East Bay ended up with edge thanks to consistent answers to the Oaks' comeback attempts en route to a 78-65 final inside Pioneer Gym on Saturday.

After facing an initial 13-6 deficit, Menlo quickly rallied back thanks to five straight points from senior forward

Marvin Brumfield each had the difference down to nine, but the Pioneers answered back and maintained their lead the rest of the way, prevailing 78-65.
